Nice information however its possible - as per Pubmed study that alpha Synuclein really originates in the gut and that altered microbiota is a key factor. Ive seen cases of parkinsons occur in those with a strong family history of gluten problems and I suspect the microbiota and integrity of the tight junctions to be possible causative factors. You can easily find this study in Pubmed. Next steps are clear but requires research funding to investigate. The microbiota likely BIG factor behind development of parkinsons and the misshapen proteins produced by the gut bacteria
