I’m not a web designer. In fact, I did a search for “author website templates” and was surprised to see most of the results were old and outdated. I did some research for my clients and found several great options for customizing your author's website to hire a book writer at an affordable price.

If you have an existing WordPress blog or you want to start one, this is the easiest way to create an author website.  You can use a free theme (like the Twenty Sixteen theme) or go with a premium theme like the one that I use.  If you want help installing WordPress, here’s a video tutorial that shows you how easy it is to do yourself.
