Brain plasticity studies using animal models to humans
Long lasting adaptive neural structures changes in response to interactions with the environment is termed plasticity, which, helps in various functions and skill acquisition.
The authors believe there needs be better dialogue between human research and animal model and in order it to happen they propose –greater use of macroscopic imaging methods in animals, intensify cross-species research, and develop models linking microscopic events to macroscopically accessible phenomena.
Thus, the researchers wish to strengthen connections between human research and animal models of brain plasticity.
